Eid al-Fitr

The spirit of Eid al Fitr is always one of joy, hospitality, and togetherness. Known as one of the most important celebrations in Islam, it marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, a time when Muslims fast from dawn to sunset. It is a time of gratitude, generosity, and community, when families dress in their finest clothes to visit relatives and friends, sharing in festive meals. Giving charity, known as zakat al fitr is an essential part of the celebration so that those in need can also enjoy the holiday.
